What our members say

Built with founders, investors and investment groups

  • Bright Capital America gave us the structure to run a professional cross-border raise without the usual overhead. The investor matching alone saved us months of cold outreach.
    Amara OkaforCEO, FinTech Ventures
  • As a family office, we needed a single pane of glass for deal flow, portfolio tracking, and co-investment coordination. Bright Capital America delivers it.
David ChenManaging Partner, Chen Capital Partners
  • The data room and AI pitch review tools meant we went into every investor meeting prepared. That confidence shows.

Who this is for — and who it isn't

Bright Capital America is a good fit if

  • Founders actively raising a US or Canadian round who need a target list and a place to run it.
  • Angels, family offices and syndicates organizing deal flow instead of an inbox.
  • Emerging fund managers running an SPV, small venture fund or charitable fund.

Look elsewhere if

  • You want money moved, held or escrowed — we don't touch funds.
  • You want an introduction guarantee. We give you the data and the workflow; the outreach is yours.
  • You need SOC 2 or a signed GDPR DPA today — we don't have either yet.
  • You're raising entirely outside the US and Canada; pricing, formation and filings are US/Canada-first.
  • You want free bulk investor data to export. Exports are limited and the directory is paid.

Why Bright Capital America

The infrastructure private capital has been waiting for

Most founders and emerging managers assemble their stack from a cap table tool, a CRM, a data room, a fund administrator and a spreadsheet of investors. Bright Capital America brings those pieces into a single workspace, so the same company profile that raises your round also powers your cap table, your investor updates and your reporting after the close.

Intelligent Platform

AI powers fundraising preparation, investor matching, portfolio analytics, and investment discovery.

Enterprise Infrastructure

Professional-grade technology trusted by startups, VC and PE firms, institutions, family offices, and governments.

Built for Global Investing

Designed in North America with international investment capabilities across seven regions.

Secure by Design

Enterprise security, encrypted infrastructure, role-based permissions, and secure document management.

AI Copilot

Ask your cap table, portfolio and pipeline questions in plain English

Bright Capital America Copilot answers questions across the data already in your workspace — respecting the same role-based permissions as the rest of the platform.

  • Natural-language search

Ask for investors, companies or deals in plain English instead of stacking filters.

  • Context from your workspace

Answers are scoped to the records your role can already access — nothing else.

  • Drafting assistance

Turn pipeline and portfolio data into updates, briefs and outreach drafts.

Try asking

  • Which investors in my directory back seed-stage fintech in Canada?
  • Summarize what changed in my fundraising pipeline this week.
  • Who on my cap table holds unvested options?
  • Draft an investor update from my latest metrics.

Copilot answers from your own workspace records. It does not provide investment, legal or tax advice, and responses should be verified before you act on them.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is Bright Capital America?
Bright Capital America is a private capital platform that connects companies raising money with investors deploying it, and gives both sides the tooling around the transaction. Founders use it to build a company profile, research investors, run a raise and manage their cap table. Investors, syndicates and fund managers use it to source opportunities, run diligence in deal rooms, and administer their vehicles and LP reporting.
Who is the platform for?
Five audiences share the same workspace: founders and companies, individual and institutional investors, investment groups and syndicates, fund managers running venture funds and SPVs, and charitable or philanthropic funds. Each has its own dashboard so you only see the tools relevant to how you use the platform.
How does the investor directory work?
The directory is a structured database of investor records covering venture capital, private equity, angels, family offices, accelerators and corporate investors. You filter by sector, funding stage, investor type and region, and the result count updates as you narrow. Free visitors can explore categories and see how many records match; full profiles, contact pathways, saved searches and exports are part of a paid membership.
Can Bright Capital America incorporate my company?
Yes. Bright Formation handles U.S. entity formation across all fifty states, including LLCs, C-corporations and nonprofit corporations, with registered agent service, EIN registration and 83(b) filing support. Nonprofits can add a dedicated 501(c)(3) application for a $450 Bright Capital America service fee plus applicable IRS fees. Formation runs inside the dashboard with a live status tracker for each filing.
What does fund administration on Bright Capital America cover?
Fund managers can launch and administer venture funds, SPVs, syndicates and charitable funds: capital calls and distributions, LP onboarding and records, waterfall and allocation tracking, document distribution and periodic investor reporting — all from the same workspace where the underlying deals live.
How much does it cost?
Bright Capital America is free to join, and free accounts can browse categories, follow opportunities and build a company profile. Paid memberships unlock the full investor directory, exports, deal rooms and the fund administration modules, and are billed per workspace rather than per user. Current plans and prices for each audience are listed on the pricing page in both USD and CAD.
