Start a nonprofit formation

Eligibility, purpose, and authority are confirmed before any purchase.

What the workflow covers

  • Charitable purpose review Capture the mission, activities, and beneficiaries, and check them against the exempt-purpose categories before anything is filed.
  • Nonprofit incorporation Form the nonprofit corporation in an eligible state with the purpose and dissolution language a federal application requires.
  • Governance records Bylaws, initial directors, conflict-of-interest policy, and organizational minutes organized in your company workspace.
  • EIN An Employer Identification Number is issued by the IRS at no cost. Where Bright Capital America assists, the amount shown is a Bright Capital America coordination fee, not an IRS fee.
  • 501(c)(3) application preparation Narrative, budget, and schedules prepared for Form 1023 or Form 1023-EZ where the organization is eligible, with professional review.
  • State and charitable registration State tax-exemption and charitable-solicitation registration requirements identified for the states where you operate or fundraise.
  • Ongoing compliance calendar Annual information-return and state-report deadlines tracked so recognition, once granted, is not lost to a missed filing.

After formation: Philanthropy & Charitable Fund Administration

Qualifying nonprofits continue into the Bright Capital America Philanthropy & Charitable Fund Administration ecosystem — donor and grant records, fund and sub-fund administration, restricted and endowment tracking, disbursement workflows, and impact reporting.

  • Charitable fund and sub-fund administration

  • Grant and disbursement workflows with approvals
  • Board and committee reporting
  • Impact reporting for donors and trustees
Explore philanthropy administration

Not every nonprofit corporation qualifies for 501(c)(3) recognition, and not every organization is eligible for Form 1023-EZ. Eligibility, purpose clauses, dissolution language, and governance terms are reviewed before an application is prepared.

Only the Internal Revenue Service can grant, deny, or revoke tax-exempt status. Bright Capital America does not promise approval, a processing time, or any tax outcome.

Nonprofit corporation availability, permitted purposes, and director requirements vary by state and are confirmed against the filing authority before submission.

Bright Capital America provides technology, administrative workflows, and document organization, and coordinates access to independent professionals. Bright Capital America is not a law firm, accounting firm, tax adviser, or government agency. Exemption applications may require qualified professional review. Questions: support@brightcapital.fund.
